Auricular Therapy Laser Treatments
The Program includes 3 auricular therapy treatments. Auricular Therapy is a clinically proven method of treatment for pain, muscular skeletal disorders, physical addictions and a range of medical conditions.
Reflex zones, or acupoints, on the external ear are treated with electro-dermal stimulation or laser light. Auricular therapy is safe, comfortable and effective.
Treating these reflex points has a rapid regulatory effect on the body. It’s effective for reducing stress, depression, anxiety, irritability and sleep problems, which makes auricular therapy effective for smoking cessation, as well as for the treatment of drug addictions and weight loss.
The treatments trigger the release of natural chemicals, including endorphins, which reduce your cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms and increase relaxation.
What to expect
Your first appointment takes about an hour and 30 minutes. We review your history and smoking habit, what to expect, tools and techniques to help you transition to being smoke-free, healthy eating and your action plan. You will receive a package of information to take home with you.
You will receive a laser treatment during this first appointment. For the greatest success, the first 2 treatments are scheduled in the same week, 48 hours apart, with another treatment scheduled in the following weeks. You have the option of checking in at least once a week by email or phone for 4 weeks following. Booster treatments are free for 2 months, but the success rate for laser therapy is very good. We find many people don’t need more than 2or 3 treatments.
