It was my personal experience that led me to qualify as a Homeopathic physician. I wanted to help others the way I was helped with Homeopathy. It proved so effective I knew I had to learn more about this amazing system of medicine.
I read and learned about Homeopathy on my own, and I looked at other options such as herbal medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine. When I began my formal studies, I was completely fascinated and awed by the healing power of Homeopathy.
Most of my classmates had a personal story about Homeopathy. The more we learned, the more we wanted to know. Why didn’t more people know about it? You want everyone to know about it. You want everyone to have access to it – because you know it works.
I have always wanted to help people. I began my working life as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, working for a number of years in a hospital. In my spare time, I volunteered with an organization that sent medical supplies to assist communities in a developing country. When I had the opportunity to visit those communities, I witnessed conditions of such overwhelming poverty and oppression, I felt had to do something. I decided to help by working for a non-profit organization dedicated to helping communities overcome poverty. I spent many years in the non-profit sector, dedicating my time and skills to helping others.
I firmly believe everyone should have the option of Homeopathic health care. My goal is to apply the principles of Classical Homeopathy and use this gentle medical art to help people overcome illness and restore health.
Although I freely admit that the pursuit of excellence in Homeopathy has taken over my life, I spend time with family and friends and enjoy the company of the two family cats. I also enjoy reading, listening to music and traveling. My husband and I are spending more time in the kitchen as we discover cooking and enjoy preparing healthy meals together. I’m a fan of science fiction, and I love computers and web technology, so I dabble in graphic design and photography. My idea of gardening is sitting in the back yard with a good book and a nice tall glass of lemonade.
